Problem
Managing equity in private companies is often slow, fragmented, and frustrating—for both company administrators and employees. Cap tables live in spreadsheets. Board approvals require back-and-forth emails. Employees struggle to understand their equity, keep track of vesting, or know how to exercise their options. The result: wasted time, manual errors, and poor equity experiences across the board.
Goal
To build a modern, blockchain-powered cap table management system that makes equity faster, clearer, and easier to manage. Figure Equity Solutions helps companies streamline how they issue, approve, and track equity—while giving employees a transparent, self-serve way to view, accept, and exercise their options.
My Roles
As the Product Designer for the employee and admin experiences across both mobile and web, I focused on:

Designing tools for company admins to issue grants, manage approvals, run board consent workflows, and distribute capital efficiently.

Crafting the employee experience for accepting equity awards, viewing vesting schedules, exercising options, and managing holdings.

Bringing speed and transparency to these processes through thoughtful UX research and clear, accessible UI.
